Master's degree is a compulsory post-graduate academic degree especially in Japan and the United States. Admissions to a master degree program require at least a Bachelor's degree, or an honors Bachelor degree. In some countries especially in the United Kingdom, the students should have an average GPA (Grade Point Average) achieved in their undergraduate degree to get admission. In some case a relevant work experience may qualify a student to get the admission for doing a master’s degree.
